Share information about a book or audiobook with others, share your favorite quotes with friends, or share your notes with classmates.
Share book or audiobook information
Go to the Books app
on your Mac.Click All (or another collection) in the sidebar.
Click
below a book, audiobook, or series, then choose Share Book, Share Audiobook, or Share Series. You can share through AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or another app or service.
View shared book or audiobook information
Using the Messages app 
, other people can share book or audiobook information with you. In Books, you can find that information in the Home tab.
Note: Books must be selected in Shared with You settings in Messages and the sender must be in your contacts to show up in Shared with You.
Go to the Books app
on your Mac.Click Home in the sidebar, then scroll down to Shared with You.
Share book quotes
Go to the Books app
on your Mac.Click Books (or another collection) in the sidebar, then double-click a book.
On a page, select the text that you want to quote.
A quote can include up to 200 words. Sharing is available only in the United States.
Control-click the text, choose Share, then choose a sharing option.
Share book notes
Go to the Books app
on your Mac.Click Books (or another collection) in the sidebar.
Double-click a book that contains notes.
Move the pointer to the top of the book, then click
in the toolbar.Control-click a note, choose Share, then choose a sharing option.
