Listen to radio on Apple Watch
Radio is the home of Beats 1, which features world-class radio shows, the latest music, and exclusive interviews. You can also listen to featured stations that have been crafted by music experts. To listen to Radio, you must be using Apple Watch Series 3 or later.
Listen to live radio
To listen to live radio, make sure your Apple Watch Series 3 or later is near your iPhone or connected to a Wi-Fi network—or a cellular network, if you have an Apple Watch with cellular.
Open the Radio app
on your Apple Watch.Turn the Digital Crown to scroll to the top of the screen.
Tap Stations, then tap the currently playing Beats 1 show.
Listen to a featured or genre station
You must be an Apple Music subscriber to listen to featured or genre stations.
Open the Radio app
on your Apple Watch Series 3 or later.Tap Stations, then turn the Digital Crown to scroll through stations and genres created by music experts.
Tap a genre to see its stations.
Tap a station to play it.
Listen to radio over a cellular connection
To listen to radio over cellular, you must be using Apple Watch with cellular.
On your iPhone go to Settings > Music.
Tap Cellular Data, then turn on Streaming.
