Use AirDrop on Apple Vision Pro to send items to nearby devices

With AirDrop, you can wirelessly send your photos, videos, websites, locations and more to other nearby devices (iOS 7, iPadOS 13, OS X 10.10, visionOS 1.0 or later required). AirDrop transfers information using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth — both must be turned on. To use AirDrop, you need to be signed in to your Apple Account. Transfers are encrypted for security.

Send an item using AirDrop

Open the item, then tap , Share, AirDrop, , or another button that displays the app’s sharing options.
Tap , then tap the person you want to share with. (You can also use AirDrop to share between your own devices.)

If someone doesn’t appear in AirDrop, ask them to open Control Centre and allow AirDrop to receive items. (If they have a Mac with macOS 12 or earlier, ask them to allow themselves to be discovered in AirDrop in the Finder.)

Allow others to send items to your Apple Vision Pro using AirDrop

Open Control Centre, then tap .
If you don’t see , you can add it to Control Centre. See Add or remove Control Centre options.
Tap Contacts Only or Everyone for 10 Minutes to choose who you want to receive items from.
You can accept or decline each request as it arrives. Tap at the top of your view, then choose an option.
