Set up iCloud for Phone & FaceTime on all your devices
You can use iCloud to sync Phone and FaceTime data across your devices. For an overview of what you can do with iCloud for Phone & FaceTime, see Sync Phone and FaceTime data with iCloud.
Note: Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account on each device. If you’re not signed in to your Apple Account on a device, or the device has the Phone & FaceTime feature turned off, your Phone and FaceTime data won’t be stored in the cloud and won’t be available across devices.
Set up iCloud for Phone & FaceTime on your iPhone
On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
Do one of the following:
iOS 18 or later: Tap See All, then turn on Phone & FaceTime.
iOS 16 to 17: Tap Show All, then turn on Phone & FaceTime.
Note: If FaceTime isn’t installed on your iPhone, you see Phone instead of Phone & FaceTime.
Your call history, voicemails, and video voicemails are now synced between devices and securely stored in the cloud. If you lose or replace your iPhone, Phone and FaceTime data can be restored by signing in to your Apple Account.
WARNING: If you turn off iCloud for Phone & FaceTime, this data is only stored on your device, not in the cloud. FaceTime data isn’t part of your iCloud Backup and can’t be restored if your iPad is lost or stolen.

On your iPad, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
Do one of the following:
