Shop the Book Store and Audiobook Store in Books on Mac

1. In the Books app on your Mac, click in the search field.

2. Start typing in the search field to see suggestions. You can search by title, author, genre, or publisher.

3. Select a suggestion, or press Return to search for what you’ve typed.

To filter your results, choose an option in the “Filter by” menu, or click All to see all results.

1. In the Books app on your Mac, click Book Store or Audiobook Store in the sidebar.

2. Scroll down, or click Browse Sections in the upper-right corner.

3. Choose a store section, like For You or Top Charts, or choose a genre, like History or Romance.

2. Search for or select a book.

3. Click the book’s price or the Get button.

   Note: If the price is shaded, the book isn’t out yet. Click the price, then click Pre-Order.

To save a book for later, click Want to Read. The book is added to the Want to Read collection in your library.

To try out a book and read a few pages, click Sample (if available). The sample is added to the My Samples collection in your library.

1. In the Books app on your Mac, click Audiobook Store in the sidebar.

   

2. Search for or select an audiobook.

3. Click the audiobook’s price or the Get button.

   Note: If the price is shaded, the audiobook isn’t out yet. Click the price, then click Pre-Order.

With many audiobooks, you can click Preview to listen to an excerpt.

To save an audiobook for later, click Want to Read. The audiobook is added to the Want to Read collection in your library.
