Redeem an Apple Gift Card in Books on Mac
If you receive an Apple Gift Card, iTunes Store Gift Card, or promotional code, you can use it to buy books and audiobooks in the Book Store or Audiobook Store.
Go to the Books app
on your Mac.Click your name in the lower-left corner, or choose Account > View Account. If you don’t see your name, sign in to your Apple Account in Books.
Scroll down, then click Redeem Gift Card or Code.
Click OK to open the App Store, then follow the onscreen instructions.
If you’re only redeeming the amount of the gift card, you don’t need to enter credit card information.

Gift cards are valid only in the country or region where they were purchased.
