I stayed at Sunset Homestay 2 for three trips and absolutely loved it. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the facilities are always clean, and they have a convenient luggage storage option. I appreciated the notice board for sharing transportation plans and the free tea and coffee available all day. The laundry service was quick, and I even rented a tent and bedding for a unique experience in Bako National Park. it's a fantastic homestay that I highly recommend.

This stay was perfect for our city trip! We loved the convenient location as it was just a short walk from the famous waterfront area and close to some great restaurants and cafes. The hosts were really helpful and offered great tour guide services that made our vacation even more enjoyable. Plus, we could rent a motorbike and explore the city at our own pace, which was super fun!
Our only complaint was the noise from the busy street outside which was a bit of a disturbance during the early mornings and nights. However, we understand that the location was in the heart of the city and it's always a trade-off.

The location of this homestay is really convenient, close to many restaurants, cafes, and mini-marts. It's just a short walk to the main bus station and the waterfront. Plus, they offer motorbike and tour guide services which is really helpful. the staff is also really friendly and helpful, and they have good information on self-guided trips in the lobby.
The noise from the nearby karaoke bar and busy road can be bothersome, especially if you're a light sleeper. the shared kitchen could use some more attention to cleanliness.
