Gorgeous Building with a Stunning View!
During our recent stay at Stirling Youth Hostel, we were blown away by the beautiful building and the breathtaking view of the city from our second-floor room. The hostel is well-maintained and impressively clean, from the corridor to the kitchen to the...

It was a great place to catch a nice night's kip, and the staff made it warm a d welcoming. An ideal location in Stirling. I would have rated higher, but granted the low price you certainly get what you paid for.0
Sadly no towels, but it is to be expected at £18 a night.

Great location, close to Stirling castle and hostel is located right next door to the Stirling Old town Jail.
Not very modern, floors creak a lot all through hallways and bedrooms which is extremely noisy.

It was close to the venues for the event we were attending but also the view from our room was stunning and the staff were most friendly and helpful.
The absence of a lift was a bit of an inconvenience but I realise it is probably a listed building so difficult to get planning permission.

The location but otherwise it was a poor experience
Extremely basic, at the basic end of the backpacker spectrum. Bunk beds with wooden bases and thin foam mattresses. very basic bathroom facilities. Couldn't find a power point in the room. Carpet stained and unpleasant.

We had a fantastic experience at the hostel. the location was perfect for exploring the old part of town and being close to Stirling Castle. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. the kitchen facilities were clean and well-equipped, and we loved the hot water boiler that was always ready for tea and coffee. the communal area was spacious and allowed us to socialize with other guests, and the bedroom was comfortable with plenty of space. our stay at the youth hostel was enjoyable and convenient. Cons: For us, the hostel was ideal. 👍.

Great location. Nice price. The staff was friendly.
Parking spaces were limited. We had to wait until next morning to find a parking space. Floors are squicking, furniture is old and the carpet not so clean. The staff was sometimes hard to find.

The staff were very friendly. it is an excellent location. Very close to all the shops, pubs, restaurants and the castle.
We stayed in a room for four and i was with 3 friends. The shower was behind a curtain rather than a door. Which was ok as we all knew each other. I wouldnt have liked it if i didnt know the other folk in the room.
