MMArena – stadium description

Decision to build it was made in 2005, construction started a year later, after the final concept was ready. Implementing it took almost 2,5 years and cost €104mln. Almost half of the price was invested by local and regional authorities, another 11mln by shareholders and 39 was covered by bank debt. The naming rights deal, first in France’s history, aided the budget as well. MMA bought the name for stadium’s first decade.
