Overtown Stadium – design description
The proposed stadium in Overtown part of Miami is already the fourth site for an MLS stadium put forward by David Beckham's ownership group. Here a 25,000 capacity stadium would be built in a very constrained block, with residential buildings just across the street. It's by far the smallest of all four plots selected, but also the last one left an feasible.
This plan was announced for the first time in December 2015, but as of May 2017 Beckham could not secure the last piece of land needed to have the entire plot available for construction.
