Richard Erskine Frere Leakey FRS (i lindur më 19 dhjetor 1944 - 1 janar 2022) është paleoantropolog, konservues dhe politikan kenian. Ai është i dytë nga tre fëmijët e arkeologëve Louis dhe Mary Leakey.

Leakey ka mbajtur disa poste zyrtare në Kenia, kryesisht në institucionet e arkeologjisë dhe konservimin e botës së egër. Ai ka qenë Drejtor i Muzeut Kombëtar të Kenias dhe kreu i Shërbimit të Botës së Egër Keniane. Leakey është themelues i WildlifeDirect.

Aktualisht Leakey është Profesor i antropologjisë në Rrushe Brook University dhe kryesues i Institutit të Basenit Turkana.
