Beautiful situation, fine public rooms with well-designed decoration and fabrics to suit their historic proportions. Good food, and very friendly staff. Plus points for offering free wi-fi (which other hotels should follow!)....

Lovely breakfast and in a fantastic location. Such a pretty place.
There were no clear tables at breakfast so this was disappointing for such a high quality establishment. My room window felt quite small so I didn't get a good view despite the grounds being pretty. The room is nice but due a refresh due to the cost of room - not in perfect condition as you might expect.
