TIPPING IN THE SEYCHELLES

A tip (service charge) of five to ten percent is usually already included in bills, so it is not absolutely necessary to tip in the Seychelles. This is especially true for restaurant, hotel and taxi bills. However, tipping is considered a very good service. Service very gladly accepted.

It is also important to note that although wages are high by African standards, the Seychelles are very expensive to maintain, especially for the locals. So tipping is always welcome, because it helps the local families.

Conclusion: If you want to put a little extra smile on the Seychellois' face(s), a 25-100 rupee tip is always a good thing.
