Spa & Massage in the Seychelles

A holiday in the Seychelles is in itself restful and relaxing. The only way to increase this feeling is to stay at the spas, spas and health resorts, which are already available in numerous hotels on eight islands of the Seychelles. Of the 18 "spa hotels", 9 are located on Mahé, 3 on Praslin, 3 on small hotel islands near Mahé and 3 on islands further away. From the typical treatments of recognised spas, which offer relaxing massages with exotic herbal oils, brushes, detoxification baths and invigorating wet treatments, to the complete programme of beauty and cosmetic specialists, such "spas" enable the complete renewal of body, mind and spirit.

On Mahé, for example, some hotels offer an all-round pampering experience according to traditional holistic methods from Asia. The Bliss Hotel has a small "organic" "spa" with unique treatments and also offers yoga sessions. The Constance Ephelia Resort can boast a 7,000 m² "Spa Village" consisting of "Le Spa de Constance" with 14 treatment rooms, a Kneipp pedal bath, sauna, steam bath and yoga pavilion as well as 3 exclusive Shiseido rooms. From the 5 individual pavilions of the "Spa" at the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, located on a hill, one can enjoy magnificent views of the sea during and after the treatments, for which local herbs and spices are processed according to ancient recipes.

The "Spa" of the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa also offers breathtaking views during holistic treatments, such as an Ayurvedic massage. The 900 m² "Spa Cinq Mondes" of the Avani Hotel in Barbarons includes a steam bath, 3 single massage rooms, a double massage room and a plunge pool. The "Elemis' Zen Spa" at Le Méridien Fisherman's Cove also offers numerous beauty treatments and massages.

Pampering Programmes in the Seychelles

The three treatment rooms of the "Maia Spa" at the Maia Luxury Resort & Spa are also suitable for couples. In the meditation pavilion, free courses in yoga, self-Shiatsu and Qi-Gong are offered, and there is a special "wellness" taster offer for children. The "Duniye Spa" at the Allamanda Beach Resort & Spa also has 3 rooms where Ayurvedic treatments are offered in addition to massages, manicures and pedicures.

On Praslin, hotel guests of the Constance Lémuria Resort can pamper themselves in "Le Spa de Constance" using Shiseido's Qi method, while the Paradise Sun Hotel is the only four-star hotel on this Island has its own "spa" with three treatment rooms. The largest "spa" in the Seychelles - "The Raffles Spa" - is located in the new Raffles Praslin, which is the only hotel that even has its own spa suites.

The private mini spa at Cerf Island Resort on Cerf Island near Mahé offers massages and beauty treatments (also in the villas), an outdoor Jacuzzi and a steam room. The "Spa by Clarins" at Sainte Anne Resort & Spa on Sainte Anne has 5 single massage rooms, 2 double massage rooms and various rooms for yoga, Ayurveda and balneotherapy, as well as two saunas and two hammams. The therapists on North Island are trained in various methods and can even offer guests additional treatments not listed in the "Spa" programme. At the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa on Silhouette Island, guests are invited to the "Aquum Spa". In the Outer Islands, Desroches Island Resort and Alphonse Island Resort (currently under renovation) have their own "spas".
