L'ANS TRUSALO

Route description: from Victoria via Bel Air Road uphill to Sans Soucis Road. There are some worthwhile viewpoints (Rochon Dam, Mission Lodge) and trails (Copolia, Trois Freres, Salazie, Casse-Dent, Morne Blanc, Tea Tavern Trail) on this route.
When you reach Port Glaud on the west coast, turn right. Parking is available just after the "Del Place" restaurant opposite the church.
From here you can already see the Anse Trusalo in the background, you continue on foot along the entire beach "Anse L'islette", crossing a river that ends at the beach (a bit upstream is the "Sauzier waterfall"). At the end of the beach you walk around the rocks and you are directly at the Anse Trusalo (this is only possible at low tide - remember this for the way back. Also the river crossing!).
There is a trail behind the rocks but it starts on the grounds of the Ephelia Hotel and is not accessible to non-hotel guests.
The journey time is just over 30 minutes for 17 km and about 15 minutes on foot.
