Félicité

Not far from La Digue On the neighbouring island of Félicité, which is just under 3 km² in size, a small luxury complex called Zil Pasyon ("Island of Passion") is being built consisting of "residences", which can not only be rented but also purchased in whole or in parts, and a resort with hotel villas. By cleaning up the island's flora and fauna, removing alien species and replacing them with native species so that the original food chain is restored, it is also hoped that rare endemic bird species will be able to find a home on the island again.
