Garda are the latest winners of a sevens competition. On Wednesday last they travelled to Edinburgh and beat the cream of sixteen British police regions in the Lothian and Borders Police promotion. Last Sunday they were highly impressive in qualifying from the preliminary rounds, beating Garryowen and DLSP senior squads en route to qualifying for tomorrow’s final stages.
