Wow!! Best hotel in crete,, we have been going to crete for 10 years now and had come to accept basic hotels as standard, anyone that goes to Crete will know what I mean,(the greeks have a tendency to rate there own hotels,ie;there 4 stars are more like hostels) out there until the royals heights came along.We stay in about 30-40 hotels a year so we have a fair idea what a good hotel should be,and this is one. Michael at check in is brilliant,we'll we would say that as we got upgraded,,huge pool, nobody getting up early and putting towels on sunbeds,could not fault this place,,all in all, Crete + weather + royal heights = bliss,,

Great hotel with excellent service. Warm breakfast selection for all tastes with very minimal options and fresh ingredients. Location so close to a hill overlooking the town of Malia, and the coast and Crete and the Royal Heights Resort and restaurants, shops.

Perfect spot just on the edge of town. Plus, it's super close to a sweet private garden area, a hill with the most amazing views of the bay, sea, and mountains. 🌄

The location of Royal Heights Resort Villas & Spa is beautiful and wonderful, close to the mountains. the breakfast offered warm options with fresh ingredients, making it worth the price.

The staff is so kind and friendly!!!! He helped us always we need. The breakfast was wonderful. The cook made us egg plate as we like. The room was so very clean and view was fantastic!

The warm breakfast was the best I've ever had. the ingredients were fresh and there was a fantastic view over the bay and town from the location close to a hill.

The rooms are very confortable and spacious. The views on the top of the mountain over Malia are great.

The noise until very late when there are marriages on the pool area is not good when you have small childreen. The Malia area is not so good since this is a place for noisy teenagers tehrefore the hotel is good for families but there is litle of interest outside the Hotel. You have to have a car.

Excellent hotel, villas first class, staff friendly, gym high standard, would recommend to anybody for a relaxing break
