WHO IS WHO
Nikos Vetoulas was born in Patras on February 6, 1974 and started playing basketball in Panachaiki. In 1994, he joined Apollo’s team, where he remained until 1999. He then played for PAOK, Near East, Ioniko NF, Ari, Udine, AEK and Murtia. He also competed in the National Team of Hope and the National Men’s National Team.
In Aris, in 2008, he started his training as a partner of Andrea Machon. In 2010, he took over the technical leadership of Apollon, where he remained for 5.5 years and led it from the Second National Team to the Basket League. He then worked in Promethea, Rethymnon, Kolossos and Ionicos of Nicaea.
Three years ago, in the summer of 2020, he returned to Apollon’s family and in the same season (2020-2021) he led him to win the A2 National Championship and promotion to the Basket League. Then, under his instructions, in the next two years, the team reached its main goal, which was to stay in the Division of the greats of Greek basketball.
