3rd Annual NASPGHAN Foundation/NASPGHAN Junior Faculty Conference

Target audience: junior level pediatric gastroenterologists

This conference is devoted to the career and professional development of NASPGHAN members at a junior level in their professional career (2 to 7 years out of fellowship training .i.e. graduated GI fellowship in the years June 2017 through June 2022).

We will address ongoing professional development for members at the junior level of their career, continue to nurture and augment existing and new professional relationships, mentoring and collaboration, and, cover such topics as expanding self-awareness and personal leadership styles, improving communication, diversity and inclusion, increasing financial acumen and strategic planning, negotiation strategies, and more.

Attendance will be limited to 50 participants and applications will need to be submitted to apply.

The program will begin at 2pm on Sunday through 1pm on Tuesday. Participants should arrive on Sunday afternoon, and depart after 1pm on Tuesday. You must attend the entire meeting. Exceptions will not be made – if you cannot attend the entire meeting, you should not apply. Airfare, accommodations, and meals during the program are covered for the accepted participant. Additionally, in order to promote maximum interaction between attendees and faculty, friends, spouses and children are not permitted to travel with/attend the meeting. We welcome nursing mothers to participate in this career development conference with the infant and 1 support adult (please note- expenses for support adult are not covered by the program grant).
