The hotel's location is central, next to the main train station. It's very close to the town center, river, and lake, and just a short walk to the beautiful Lucerne old town. the room I stayed in was brand-new and extremely pleasant, with a comfortable bed and outside vents for air.

I was there for the christmas and had a very very good stay, so I would come here again. Loved the hotel, it was CHARMING OLD with convenient location great- close to everything. The service was excellent, no complaints.

The hotel has a magnificent and stunning location, adjacent to the center of Luzern, the rail station, and other sights and shopping areas. I was impressed with the king room and appreciated the air conditioning. The hotel is only a 5-minute walk from Lucerne Culture and Congress Centre.

I recently stayed at the Monopol in Lucerne for a short visit. The hotel is situated in a beautiful historic building that's very central and close to the train station, shops, restaurants and attractions. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a better room, which was spacious and very well appointed. Despite arriving early, the hotel was kind enough to let me check in already, which I really appreciated. The staff, especially Arnoldo at reception, were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was also wonderful, being central to town and directly opposite the train station.
