I just listened to this episode and I was very edified. I had never heard of the framework interpretation before so it was all new to me. I have always held (and still do) to a literal six day period for creation. One of the primary verses that keeps me from abandoning the literal interpretation for the framework interpretation is Exodus 20:11. When I read this, to me Moses is explicitly saying that God created the heavens and the earth “in six days.” I think if one tries to interpret “in six days” as “in six periods of unspecified time” then that would render Moses’s words as nonsensical. I’d love to read a response to this verse if you have the time, and I am definitely open to changing my thinking on this.
I really enjoy your podcast and I thank you for your time.
