The Davon system was a star system in the Alpha Quadrant. The system had six planets, four gas giants, two rocky planets in close orbit to the system's star and a Van Luden radiation belt.
For a time it was disputed territory between the Federation and Cardassian Union with the Cardassians finally gaining control of the system in 2348 in a border treaty. The Cardassians established a mining outpost and slave labor camp on Davonia, the first moon of Davon III. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
