The klutzy yet stunning Rebecca Sommers walks in on her hunky boyfriend in bed with another woman. They break up and Rebecca starts to fall apart, but, with the help of her close girlfriends, she begins to date again. Unfortunately, the men she meets all happen to be crazy. John, her dorky guy friend, tries to express his secret love for Rebecca, but she's too busy to notice as she tries to come to terms with her breakup.

Early 2000s boner comedy written and produced by Jenna Mcarthy and directed by her then husband. I think they watched Freddy got fingered and decided to try and make a lady version. And yes its as bad as you think. Terribly unfunny, embarrassing, cringey and offensive.
Some of the gems you can expect to see:
-A seabass in a mans ass
-A farting conversation via landline
-Period blood in public and giant sanitary pads as a joke
-Jenna Mcarthys boobs covered in puke
-The ol clown never ending handkerchief trick but you guessed it, coming out of a mans ass
-A Sum 41 concert followed by a terrible cameo from Derrick and Steve.
If Tom Green made this film nerds would cherish this as a Dadaist masterpiece.
-Girl gets dumped.
-Girl has no respect for herself.
-Girl can't see the 'nice guy' is right in front of her.
-'Nice guy' expects girl to be his after fixing all her problems.
-Girl rejects 'nice guy'
-'Nice guy' gets pissed off.
-Girl realises the error of her way and 'nice guy' gets the girl.
Moral of the story: Girls can't solve problems for themselves. They need a guy.

Guilty pleasure alert. I’ve decided to rewatch my Top 10 Comedies, one because it’s been a rough month and two, to reevaluate my rankings. While
John Asher’s Dirty Love doesn’t hold up as well as I hoped, this underrated gem still deserves a higher rating than the 2.3 it’s currently repping on here.
What makes this film work is the cast. McCarthy-Wahlberg is all about physical comedy. Rebecca crying on Hollywood Boulevard, flailing her arms around like a psycho in this over the top way is hilarious. Stupid, but still hilarious. My favorite scene in this film will always be Rebecca slapping a rude cashier with a maxi pad. That’s gotta be the most random thing I’ve ever…
I laughed once, at the guy with the fish in his butt. Otherwise: desperate, flailing and insincere, with a mind-boggling gross-out/humiliation factor that only proves Asher and McCarthy to be yet another creative team who missed the whole point of There's Something About Mary. Also good job buds in reinforcing the "nice guy" myth in a most pernicious way. This thing is just diseased all around.
Carmen Electra's performance: literally one of the worst things to ever be put in a movie. And I know what "worst" looks like, goddammit.
Dirty Love is another example of 'flatline comedy', in the sense that remotely nothing about it is funny, nor amusing, so I'm just filled with annoyance and frustration.
Jenny McCarthy's performance is truly embarrassing to witness (she also penned the script, which is just as lousy), as it feels like a worse emulation of Tom Green or Jim Carrey, but she's a work of art compared to the lousy work of Carmen Electra's hood stereotypical performance. Going for the R-rated gross out angle is respectable, for a leading woman to participate in almost all the practical gags, but once again, not remotely amusing.
There's nothing else to say. Lame gags, forced romance, and an odd amount of sexual assault/harassment played for laughs (once once again, not amusing).
