All in all everything was really good, had a very very good stay with friends in great ambience. Everyone was amazingly attentive and flexible. It was in the remote location in a beautiful area.

The welcome and relaxed pace combined with an authentic Scottish country house featuring a open fire in the hall made our stay a great experience. Staff were all very good also.
Only slight disappointment was the main meal. A great menu but quality of meat served was poor.

Everything was very good during my two-night stay in early August. I was offered a room with great views of the Valley of Strathmore. - the room was decorated in a comfortable style. - the hotel had a remote location to take in the area.

Everything. From the room with the 4 poster bed, the guest area with the open fire and comfortable chairs to the super staff. It felt more like staying in a friends house rather that a hotel., even the owners greyhound made us welcome.

Feels like staying in a stately home, with a huge roaring fire and a 4- poster bed. Dinner excellent with very friendly staff and an informal atmosphere. Highly recommend.
