Tetrahedron[1] sive pyramis triangula[2] est polyhedrum quattuor faciebus triangulis, unum ex quinque corporibus Platonicis.

Nomen etiam tetraëdrum (a Graeco τετρα- 'quattuor' et ἕδρα 'sedes, facies'),[3][4], tetrahedrum[5] et tetrahedrus[6] scribitur.
