The amazing and beautiful location for the price, close to Marina who were very helpful, shops and restaurants, and Mallorca. A huge variety of products for a freshly cooked breakfast.

It is the perfect hotel, nice and small, very romantic, for a romantic stay in Mallorca. The hotel is located in the most natural and romantic bay I have ever been to. You can't imagine how beautiful it is. Go for dinner to "Les Oliveres" in Soller Port, the best fish we have ever eaten - we travel a lot.

We liked Costa D'or because we stayed there 40 years ago for our honeymoon and wanted to return. We were not disappointed as we had a balcony view and the bed was comfortable and bathroom adequate if a bit cramped. We liked the fact that you didnt have to find alternative venues for dinner as the food was excellent but will comment on service in space below. It was very peaceful save for one noisy child on one day. The pool and lounging area were just right. All in all we had a good time and would return again.
If fault could be found it would be the following. It was a pity that food could not be served around the pool at lunchtime. We understand that it would mean more staff perhaps and this is where our other complaint lies. The first 4 nights seem to work ok but dinner on other nights was slow and there was a shortage of staff. Pedro was trying to handle it well and he was an excellent waiter and very friendly but the other staff didnt have his flair. Breakfast time the coffee seemed lukewarm and it would make sense to have an urn or similar at the food area to save trekking back and forth to the kitchen to fill flasks which dont keep coffee that hot. We had to ask the waiter to serve it at the beginning and to ask him to top it up. At one dinner (4 of us) I asked for salmon which was not cooked properly and having waited a long time too. My husband had rack of lamb and our firends had fish, which was lukewarm too. We assume the food had been hanging around waiting for the rack of lamb to cook. I had to ask for my salmon to be cooked more (raw inside). We did not eat there the following night for fear of a repetition. So all in all the restaurant service needs to be addressed with more staff trained like Pedro.

Peaceful - mostly!! a good place to relax
boring menu, as one has to eat at the hotel often, as it is a long way to any restaurants. Should have nore choice, and a "bar" menu when one doesnt want a full evening meal...

stunning location. Beautiful room. Personal. great food in the evening. Lovely restaurant overlooking sea. Good variety at breakfast. Near to Deia and Valdemossa and Soller. Comfortable sunbeds though could have been more of them. Felt like retreat away from everything.
lunch one day was not good. Crystal waters described looked lovely but path to sea was not that accessible unless I went wrong way completely. Shame not better signposted and maintained sympathetically. Think that should be pointed out in literature.

The staff are all superb as is the food and the geographical position of the hotel. Sadly some well healed Brits decided to take a swim in the pool at 4 in the morning and the staff handled the situation well, with sensitivity but firmly! I have to say we have stayed there before and will do again, it is a relaxing hotel and the above was a definite one-off.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful isolated place! Excellent position to get away from the city and relax.
Restaurant could have had a little more authentic Spanish food.
