The atmosphere here is perfect, and the breakfast offered for $8.50 is above average and extensive; thank you so much!

above average breakfast with wine, more than adequate options and the juices served in the restaurant. very good check-in, late check-out, amazingly helpful staff.

The hotel was close enough to restaurants and cafe, the casino and The Hilton Cairns thanks to its great location. The breakfast was awesome and marvellous with the juices, yogurt and rice dishes, nothing too much trouble.

Perfect central location, right by surroundings which will reflect better as far as tourism is concerned. Varied breakfast with plenty of food options. - the new restaurant is only an hour away. - the Esplanade has a wide selection of restaurants.

Location and room.

Arrogant, rude and very indifferent and unhelpful staff. Definitely not the standard expected for the hotel rating.

The restaurant was great from lunch onwards, I tried quality dishes. Essentials that you need, such as a balcony and a safe box, were there. I appreciated hotel's marvellous and brilliant location. Free Wi-Fi was good and the service was nice!

The deluxe double room includes coffee, a balcony, and a safe box; they offer an extensive breakfast with plenty of food at a reasonable price, all in a stunning location next to the marina.

The most recent stay 9/7/2011 was most enjoyable however we stayed the week before 2/7/2011 and did not enjoy the stay. Our initial room smelt of stale water and we were not particularly happy with the staff response when we requested a room change. We had booked a Dinner /Bed/Breakfast package and we really were unimpressed by he Dining option considering the cost of the package. By contrast we were upgraded on booking in on the second stay.

Good hotel, well located for central Cairns. Superb restaurant in house with some fantastic Asian dishes. Great pool/jacuzzi.

Room didn't get refreshed on day, but nothing to really moan about.

Everything was very good, including attentive staff on night shift. the food was great and served in the lounge area. - the location exceeded all expectations, it was perfect and exceptionally nice so close to everything you need. - I think the hotel was wonderful relaxing, would book here again. The rooms at this place were newly renovated, spacious, with fantastic views and effective air conditioning, making the stay effortless and enjoyable.

Staff are well trained in how to engage the customer. The bed,linens and pillows were great......also it was quiet so I slept well.

Stayed there 2 nights out of 5 that we were there. We switched hotels for the final 3 days for 1/3 the cost. The only difference btwn the two was that the second hotel ( not the hilton) had terrible pillows. Otherwise we were in the same area; walking distance to everything....had great service at both hotels....so I would say that there was more value at the second hotel we stayed at.

I did not like that the bath tub in our room had a small chip on the rim.Maybe the maintenance staff were unaware of the damage.. It was a jarring note in otherwise comfortable and lovely accommodation

The hotel was in a particularly good location, surrounded by a beautiful garden with a rainforest feel.

Room design was nice & modern, the rooms were a good size & the spa bath which looks into the bedroom (TV) & Trinity Inlet was a novel idea (we were given a free upgrade). The goose feather pillows & King size bed was very comfy & the breakfast was fantastic.

Having to pay $9 a time to use their car park. We parked on the road instead, as it is free Saturday afternoons & all day Sunday.
