staying here for holidays was excellent, totally recommendable. we were there for 5 days, everything was excellent, enjoyed its marvellous and fantastic location near to shops, restaurants and bus stop, the touristy stalos and beautifully tended gardens. had good sleep at the superior king studio with air-con, 2 bedrooms, for instance.

Hermes Apartments is a hidden gem nestled up a hill above the bustling Stalos, offering a serene stay away from the tourist crowd. The hotel's perfect location provides easy access to the city of Chania and the popular west Crete beaches, making it ideal for exploration. The well-maintained gardens, fruit trees, and flowering shrubs create a beautiful setting, adding to the hotel's charm. The spacious and clean rooms, with their sea-view balconies, offer a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. Moreover, the friendly and helpful staff, headed by Maria and Ermis, ensure that every guest's needs are met and make you feel like visiting friends. They go the extra mile to arrange car rentals, recommend restaurants, and plan outings, ensuring a memorable stay. Additionally, the pool area, almost exclusive to guests due to the limited number of apartments, provides a perfect spot for relaxation with an umbrella and a good book. The complimentary sunbeds at the unexploited part of the beach, free from crowds, offer the best of both worlds. The hotel's breakfast, served poolside, not only satisfies all taste palates but also offers a remarkable view of the sea that is beyond comparison. These reasons make Hermes Apartments the ideal choice for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.
All was fantastic.

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully located apartment hotel right by the beach. the entire property was well-maintained with spacious and clean apartments that had all the amenities we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed the breathtaking sea view from our balcony. the pool area was fantastic and well-equipped with an airy bar serving breakfast and small dishes.
It would have been nice to have access to umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach so we didn't have to rely on nearby restaurants and bars for them.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the beautiful sea view and the cozy, warm atmosphere of the accommodation. the breakfast offered a variety of delicious food options and the unlimited supply of hot cocoa was a nice touch. the location was convenient as we were able to easily walk to nearby restaurants and shops.
The room was a bit smaller than expected, and the lack of a comfortable seating area made it difficult to relax. We also found that the temperature control in the room was inconsistent, with the heat sometimes feeling too high and other times too low.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the location is simply perfect. Situated on a hill overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, it offers breathtaking sea views from the rooms. It was such a peaceful and tranquil experience to wake up to the sound of crashing waves and enjoy a bottle of wine on the balcony in the evening, taking in the stunning vista.
No improvements needed, everything was absolutely perfect.

The view from the room was fantastic, with a beautiful ocean and city view. The staff was quite friendly and allowed us to check in early. The property was also quite spacious.
The location was inconvenient, with several tourist destinations we wanted to visit being quite a distance away. The room was also quite old and outdated, not what was advertised on the website.
