Stayed at the beautiful Kwena Hut for a cozy winter getaway. Amazing log fire in the bedroom and a sunken bath with stunning views. Safari experience exceeded expectations with our brilliant guide, Patrick. Saw all the animals we hoped for and more. Friendly staff, outstanding safari trips, and excellent meals. Perfect room with incredible views. Would definitely return for this amazing experience!
Do recommend this hotel.

Amazing views of the bush, especially from the pool area. The staff were professional and made us feel at home. The food was fantastic and they catered to our children. The game drives were educational and fun for the kids. They made an effort to show us a variety of animals and we got to see most of the big 5. The house was beautifully decorated and felt exclusive.
Limited food selections and no room service or food delivery. The location of the villa was a bit far from the main area, requiring a 15-minute drive.

We had an amazing stay at the Gondwana Game Reserve Villa. It was truly picturesque, with breathtaking views and a beautiful, spacious villa that could accommodate up to 8 people. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, especially when it came to accommodating our small baby on the game drives. The safari experience was exhilarating, as the guides don't know where the animals are, adding an element of excitement and adventure. We were lucky to have Hennie as our guide, his contagious enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. The food at the resort was delicious and the overall management of the park was excellent. We only regretted not staying longer to fully enjoy our stunning villa.
Everything was fantastic! 😊

The staff treated us with exceptional service and made us feel truly welcomed. Our safari guide was informative and flexible, ensuring that we had the best wildlife encounters. The reserve itself is a free roaming game reserve, providing a unique and authentic experience. Good value for money, despite the overall expense of safaris. we highly recommend Gondwana Game Reserve for an unforgettable adventure.

Our ranger, Austen, was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making our game drives unforgettable. The accommodations in the bush villa were outstanding and we loved the drive to and from the lodge. The reserve overall was wonderful, with a great selection of food for lunch and dinner. Our children had a blast on the game drives and we saw so many animals. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Bush Villa, but that’s about it
We recently stayed at Gondwana Game Reserve Villa and had a fantastic time. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the landscape and scenery. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to relax and unwind in such a picturesque setting.
The staff at the restaurant were friendly and always willing to help, although the quality of the food left something to be desired. While breakfast was okay, the high tea and dinner were quite average.

We loved the peaceful and secluded location of our lodge, surrounded by beautiful buck and wildlife. The half board option made it easy to enjoy meals and game drives at the main lodge. We were fortunate to see 4 of the big five animals from our own car, which was an incredible experience.
We felt looked after and had no complaints at all.
