Its staff were especially helpful.

We had a very lovely 3 nights stay. The staff was efficient and affable, took good care of everyone. The room was spotless, especially a splendid view of the mountains from the window. It had plenty of facilities, including an ironing set, coffee/tea makers and television etc.

The breakfast at Ferndale Lodge included a good variety of options, including a vegetarian choice. the location of the hotel was convenient, right next to the center of Ambleside town. - I was pleasantly surprised to find halal food available at the hotel. - I enjoyed visiting Café Mr H's, which was just 1 km away from the lodge.

It was very good time in Ambleside. I loved the hotel, everything was fine here. The location was stunning and awesome - ease of access to Merz Barn. The bus stop was 300 metres away.

The room was well-maintained and lovely looking, providing ample storage space, two windows, and coffee facilities.

I have stayed here before, and it is still a great experience; would definitely go back, thank you.

The breakfast here is really good with lots of tasty options. It's just a short walk to the lake and some beautiful trails. There are plenty of nice restaurants around, as well as public transport. 🌳

The location is great, within walking distance of a cinema and a church. the hotel is conveniently located near pubs and a cinema. - the room is beautifully maintained and modern, with 2 windows and coffee facilities. - There are plenty of options for delicious meals.

The breakfast here is fantastic, offering fresh fruit and vegetarian options, and the location is very central to various areas.

The exceptional views over town and hills were perfect. the location in a great central area of the Lake District was particularly good. - the bed was comfy. - A short walk to restaurants and shops, as well as the center of Ambleside town.

The decent sized standard double room was pet-friendly. the breakfast was tasty and complete with toast, vegetarian option, and fruit. - the location was fab, near supermarkets and the center of Ambleside. - Free parking was available on the main street. - the service was good.

Recently renovated and clean hotel. Absolutely perfect staff. - Good views over the mountains. - Great location. - Great breakfast. - Near a short walk from the lake. - Very close to the main bus station. - Fantastic stay, no complaint.

The room here was spacious and well-organized with a comfortable chair, fantastic hot showers, and plenty of storage, set in an amazing location near the town center.
