The hotel features an excellent and helpful staff, along with a marvelous breakfast. the deluxe double room offers a large bed, a work desk, multi-channel TV, and a dining area. the views over the river are stunning. the location is exceptionally nice, being very close to the bay, Portimão, and the beautiful Caneiros beach, which is home to the fantastic Rei das Praias restaurant. the property is also situated on the cliff, making for an extra special stay.

wonderful place to stay for us. incredible staff, inviting and elegant room with a very large terrace directing to the southwest offering a marvelous view over portimao. the pool area is heated too. such great experience there.

Everything was simply great. The hotel was fantastic and fairly clean, had awesome views of the sea and of Portimao Marina. Fantastic and wonderful location, London Heathrow airport was 0.5 km away. This venue was in a tourist area. Our deluxe double room with a work desk, multi-channel TV, and a dining area was luxurious. The staff were amicable and very pleasant lot of the time.

The room I stayed in at Encosta Da Praia Luxury Suites was amazing! It had a king-size bed, a cozy fireplace, and a private bathroom with a luxurious bath and shower. The best part was the sea-view terrace where I could relax and enjoy the stunning views. As a business traveler, I felt pampered and relaxed in this room.

The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was that some rooms had a seating area, but mine didn't. However, this is just my personal preference and others may still find comfort in the room without a seating area.

If there was one thing we could suggest for improvement, it would be to have a heated pool. the water temperature in early September was a bit chilly, but it didn't stop our son from enjoying it.
