Nubi is an Arabic-based creole spoken in Uganda and Kenya.

Orthography

Lemma entries should be in Latin script and follow the orthography of Ineke Wellens ({{R:kcn:Wellens}}) with the exception that stress (which Wellens marks with apostrophes) should not be marked in the page title, but marked in the headword line with acute accents. Arabic-script entries can be created when specifically attested in that script, but should point to a Latin-script entry.
