The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) is contracted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to approve and supervise GI Bill® education and training programs in Delaware, helping to ensure that veterans and other eligible persons have access to high-quality opportunities.
Programs in Delaware that offer GI Bill® education and training must be approved by DDOE. Programs must submit an initial application and an application whenever a new program is developed or changed.
Veterans Education Benefits
GI Bill® – Find and apply for programs that help pay for college, graduate school, and training, including certificates, apprenticeships and more. Additional benefits are available at VA education and training. Benefits vary depending on an individual’s length and type of service.
Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs – Assists veterans and their families in getting benefits and assistive services through government agencies and civic organizations. Coordinates statewide programs and objectives to advocate for veterans affairs.
