Abstract
This paper extends the diffeomorphic landmark matching as described by Joshi in IR2 and IR3 to spherical geometries. Spherical maps, which are in one-to-one correspondence with a cortical surface, are useful in visualization since they bring the buried cortex into full view and preserve topology.
