Abstract

In order to store massive blog information, a cloud storage system called BlogCloud was proposed. The system uses semi distributed P2P architecture, and divides the network nodes into three parts, the client nodes, the storage nodes and the index nodes. The client nodes are those unstable nodes, which are only the blog clients, do not provide storage service; the storage nodes are those stable nodes, except for having all the features of the client node, they also provide storage service. There are many index nodes used to storage user index information and blog file index information. BlogCloud has a simple and clear structure, and obeys the rule of storing nearby, which proposes the data access efficiency; has the function of redundant backup that promotes the security and reliability of data; Only regard the stable nodes as storage nodes, which avoid the network flipping caused by instable nodes; With multiple index nodes, the single point of failure was avoided; In addition, for the small size of blog files, they need not to be divided into blocks, which saves the cost of file transmitting and processing greatly. Simulation shows that BlogCloud has high availability and reliability, can provide high quality of cloud storage services.
