Abstract

after more than 40 years of reform and opening up, Chinese economic development has made remarkable achievements, but the imbalance of regional economic development is still prominent, which restricts Chinese long-term economic and social development. The central and local governments urgently need to explore a feasible model or path to solve this problem. Taking Guangdong Province as an example, this paper analyzes the current situation of uncoordinated regional economic development, points out its new model to solve the problem of uncoordinated regional economic development, empirically analyzes the relationship between institutional innovation and regional economic growth in the new development model, and based on the current development of ShenShan Special Cooperation Zone, discusses the innovation and demonstration value of “enclave” economic development model of ShenShan Special Cooperation Zone in promoting regional coordinated development, in order to provide demonstration and reference for China to solve the problem of regional development imbalance.
