If you're at DTM find Adam, otherwise call or text him (248.404.5184) and he'll let you know when we will be there.
Lafayette Coney Island is legendary among the many Coney Island diners in and around Detroit. Their Coney Island hot dogs are the real deal - not from the "they’ll never know the difference" school of cereal-and-filler production. At many coneys, chili cheese fries come with iridescent liquid cheese. Lafayette heaps on real shredded cheese, which melts from the heat of the freshly fried fries. The waitstaff shouts your order from the front of the restaurant to the kitchen; it's a nice touch - that way you can never get away with ordering a salad and a Diet Coke / http://metrotimes.com/food/review.asp?rid=19091

An event organized by a club, or kennel, is known as a Hash or Hash Run, with participants calling themselves Hashers. At a Hash, one or more members (Hares) lay a trail, which is then followed by the remainder of the group (the Pack or Hounds). The trail often includes false trails, short cuts, dead ends, and splits. These features are designed to keep the pack together regardless of fitness level or running speed, as front-runners are forced to slow down to find the "true" trail, allowing stragglers to catch up. Members often describe their group as "a drinking club with a running problem," indicating that the social element of an event is as important, if not more so, than any athleticism involved. The end of a trail is an opportunity to socialize, have a drink and observe any traditions of the individual kennel. When the Hash officially ends, many members may continue socializing at an On-After or On-On-On, an event held at a nearby house, pub, or restaurant / www.A2H3.org

Walking through the doors, you are drawn into the warmth and ambiance of a private home. Immediately, you are greeted with a dramatic expression of morning – shades of orange, green and white with plenty of natural light from the Eastern sun accent the space; silhouettes of abstract columns on the walls express the dynamic energy of Detroit.
