The guesthouse is a little off the beaten path, but pretty convenient as a stopover between Vik and Hofn. It is located in an impressive area, beautifully nestled against lovely hills with a view over the lava field and a wide area. Additionally, it is near the Vatnajokul national park, allowing for easy exploration of the stunning surroundings. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hosts were professional and helpful. The common spaces were spacious and well furnished. The breakfast was delicious, with waffles being a particular highlight.

We had a lovely stay at a guesthouse in the heart of Iceland, surrounded by stunning nature and with a fantastic view of a valley framed by steep mountains. The house had a calming atmosphere, and the friendly owners made us feel welcome. The 2 bedroom apartment was modern and comfortable, and we appreciated the delicious waffles brought to us for breakfast. The location was picturesque, close to a glacial river and a small waterfall. It was also conveniently situated, only 20 minutes away from the nearest shops and restaurant.
Nothing to fault.
