Proclamation February 2024 – In recognition of Career and Technical Education within the State of Delaware, the Delaware General Assembly recognized February 2024 as “Career and Technical Education Month” in the State of Delaware.

DACCTE CTE Month Poster Contest

February is Career and Technical Education Month! To help celebrate the Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education (DACCTE), along with partners from the Department of Labor and Department of Education, is hosting a CTE poster contest. To recognize Career and Technical Education as an integral part of our educational system and economy, and to celebrate, we would like to showcase the amazing talent represented in CTE classrooms every day. The winning student poster will be used to celebrate CTE Month in Delaware.

DACCTE CTE Workshop

Upcoming DACCTE CTE Workshops

The Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education (DACCTE) is pleased to host two statewide workshops in conjunction with the Department of Education (DOE). These professional developments are an opportunity for you to learn valuable information and provide personal feedback on issues impacting CTE programs in your school. CTE teachers and administrators are encouraged to attend.

The fall workshop will be held virtually on December 5th, 2024 (PDMS Course #43015; Section #87356) from 4:30 pm- 6:30 pm. The topic for this workshop will be Bringing New Life to Advisory Committees.

The spring workshop will be held on March 27th, 2025 (PDMS Course# 43017; Section #87357) with a location to be determined.

DACCTE CTE Workshop

The Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education (DACCTE) hosted a statewide workshop at the Delaware State Troopers Association from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The workshop provided an opportunity for administrators and teachers to learn valuable information regarding Perkins funding fundamentals and approval processes.

The Delaware Advisory Council on Career and Technical Education (DACCTE) was pleased to host a statewide workshop in conjunction with the Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) on November 16, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Delaware State Troopers Association. The workshop was an opportunity to learn valuable information and provide personal feedback on issues impacting CTE programs in participants schools.
