Centre of Research and Innovation in Maritime Affairs (CRIMA) has been established since 8th June 2021 at Minhaj University Lahore. Maritime Affairs is an emerging academic field that covers multiple dimensions of the social and scientific studies. The aim of CRIMA is to promote maritime research and innovation in order to explore its potential in Pakistan. The Centre provides new policy insights for Pakistan’s maritime sector and valuable input from the academia for quality research and reliable statistical data. CRIMA mainly focuses on the Maritime matters such as Safety and Security. Ports & Shipping, Marine Environment, Employment & Trade, Coastal Infrastructure Development, Renewable Energy, Conservation of Marine Biology, Mining, Regulations & Policies and Maritime Tourism.
