The cottage was absolutely fantastic - the size was perfect, and it was super cozy and warm. The bathroom was spacious, and we loved being able to visit the friendly ponies nearby. It was also conveniently close to the geysir and gullfoss waterfall, and easy to get to from Reykjavik. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location was ideal for exploring the Golden Circle. It was incredibly peaceful except for a hilarious bird that liked to play with the sliding door in the morning. The cottage provided great privacy and had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen. The host was amazing, always available for any questions and even allowed us a late check-out due to bad weather. it was an exceptional stay and the perfect base for touring the Golden Circle and the surrounding area.
