Initially, DLive operated on the Steemit blockchain before transitioning to the Lino network and subsequently moving to the TRON network following its acquisition by BitTorrent in 2019.

As our slogan says, “Your Stream, Your Rules!” This commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring community safety has broadened DLive’s appeal, attracting a diverse audience. The Mission of DLive

Most of us started creating or watching content on YouTube or Twitch. As content creators, we work hard to entertain and bring our ideas to life. We’ve contributed for years and witnessed traditional platforms grow from their infancies into billion-dollar companies. However, what have we received in return? Higher monetization bars, unfair content promotion, and fewer earnings because of increased platform fees.

The mission of DLive is to create a value sharing live streaming platform that empowers creators and viewers through a revolutionary rewards system.

The Basics: Lemon

• Lemon is a virtual reward point system that can be transacted within DLive at $0.012 US Dollars unit price. Lemon can only be used within DLive for donations to content creators, and cannot be otherwise transferred within or outside the DLive platform. Content creators who have received donations and paid subscriptions in Lemons can elect to get paid per DLive’s terms of service.

With your help, we are changing the status quo of live streaming for both content creators and viewers, here is how.

DLive takes 25% on all transactions on the platform, whether that’s a recurring subscription or a one-time gift, compared to traditional platforms that take roughly 50%.

75% of each subscription and gift in Lemon will go to your wallet directly, 25% goes to DLive to help with long term development
