Russia Postpones Negotiations On Framework Agreement With Georgia
(Tbilisi. November 14. Civil Georgia) – Negotiations between Russia and Georgia concerning the framework agreement between two countries scheduled on November 16 in Tbilisi are postponed.
It is unknown who will head Georgian delegation on the negotiations because the Foreign Affairs Minister has not been appointed yet, MFA of Russia announced.
Georgian MFA Spokesman Kakha Sikharulidze stated that the reason of postponement is acceptable for Georgian side, but “I suspect that the talks look like to be artificially procrastinated in time”.
On November 13, Russian news agency Interfax reported, quoting unknown Russian authority that Russia does not intend to initiate negotiations on the framework agreement yet.
