Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift debuted with her self-titled album in October 2006, and first appeared on the Billboard 200 on the Nov. 11, 2006-dated chart. The album's lead single, "Tim McGraw," was her first Hot 100-charting song, which debuted on the Sept. 23, 2006-dated tally. She was nominated for the best new artist Grammy in 2007, but lost to Amy Winehouse. She won her first Grammys in 2009, taking album of the year and best country album for sophomore release 'Fearless,' as well as best female country vocal performance and best country song for single "White Horse." The pop superstar's birthday is Dec. 13, 1989 — with 13 famously being her favorite number, and '1989' a chart-topping album. The singer-songwriter — who stands at a height of 5'11" — was born in Reading, Penn., to Scott and Andrea Swift. Since her first-ever recorded duet with Colbie Caillat -- "Breathe" off of 'Fearless' -- Swift has worked with many artists, including Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, who are frequent collaborators.
