The hotel is upscale and pretty, located in a magnificent green area. The room is extremely spacious, quiet, and has essential amenities such as a mini-fridge-bar and tea/coffee making equipment. The staff are really helpful and give their best to make the stay enjoyable. Efficient service and the breakfast is cheap and amazing. On-site parking is available.

Homey room with super cozy beds, a little fridge for your snacks and drinks, coffee/tea setup, and a chill spot to relax. Amazing spot, just a 10-minute stroll to Cenote Azul 🌿.

We stayed for thanksgiving and will be back. Came here for 6 days, the hotel was upscale, it had stunning location next to So Close to the Beach and so about a hour drive away from Cancun. The breakfast was relatively cheap and amazing and offered a lot of amazing food: )

Some room maintenance issues, such as stains in the bathtub, were not promptly addressed. Noise disturbance caused by unruly groups during the night was not effectively resolved by reception.

The location is magnificent as it's close to several restaurants and buffets, So Close to the Beach and Playa del Carmen. Also, Cenote Cristalino is approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.

The hotel's location near a beautiful beach with access to the sea was amazing. The food, especially the Japanese and seafood options at the a la carte restaurants, was superb. The resort was well designed, staffed, and maintained, with plenty of options for dining and activities. The pools and gym were great, and the nightly entertainment was professional and enjoyable. The resort felt safe and welcoming for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

Nothing it is perfect.

The breakfast was very affordable and delicious, and the room was peaceful with a super comfortable bed and great facilities.

We spent the Christmas holidays at this resort and overall had a great time. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, including complementary fresh juices and lots of fresh fruits. The beach location was perfect for us, with clean water and lots of lounge chairs available. We also appreciated the free access to catamarans and surfboards. Additionally, the shows at night were amazing, especially the circus and Michael Jackson show.

Our room was not well-maintained, with some old fixtures and a stained bathtub. On our last night, a group of noisy teenagers arrived and the hotel staff were unable to resolve the issue, leading to a disrupted night's sleep.

my recent stay in xpu ha was amazing, but barcelo truly exceeded my expectations. the resort's design and facilities were impressive, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the variety of restaurants and entertainment options was outstanding. i will definitely be returning.

Wifi access was inconvenient.

I had a great time at this beachfront hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beautiful beach and the Maya mall nearby. The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the pool. The service was exceptional, especially the friendly staff at the Brasserie restaurant and the waterpark in the Palace resort. The breakfast options were delicious and varied, catering to all tastes.

The WiFi was limited and only available in the mall, which was a bit inconvenient.

Good location, plenty of restaurant choices, delicious food, comfortable beds, and fun exercise classes by the pool. Facilities are great, including access to nearby resorts, multiple pools, and buffets. Staff is friendly and helpful, except for a few at the front desk who could be more welcoming. Beach is well-maintained with regular cleaning.

the resort in xpu ha was amazing, but barcelo really took it to the next level. the beaches were pristine and the shows were outstanding. the staff were incredibly friendly and the check-in process was a breeze. we will definitely be back next year!
