Pettey (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Kansas State Senate to represent District 6. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Pat Pettey, as of February 2020, lived in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Turner High School in 1964. She earned a bachelor of science and a master's degree in education from the University of Kansas. Pettey’s career experience includes working as an educator with Turner High School District 202. She has also been a chairperson of the Homeless Continuum of Care and the Mayors Council Against Domestic Violence.[1][2]
