We had an a nice size and well-equipped room with a luxurious bathroom. The location was reasonable and incredibly convenient for San Francisco, very close to the cable car station, close to shops and restaurants, and neighborhoods.

It had uncomfortable beds, maybe it was bad luck.

The deluxe queen room was brand-new and complete with toiletries and a king bed. the location was the best possible - a short walk to tourist areas on the coast, the Moscone center, and many restaurants including Chinatown.
