We stayed at the lovely Hotel Amphora for our honeymoon and it was absolutely fabulous! The honeymoon suite was the most romantic room we have ever stayed in, with a stunning view of the old Venetian harbor. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars, and the beautiful harbor. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the jacuzzi was perfect for hydrotherapy. The hotel's location is excellent, being close to a great museum and within walking distance to the old port. The rooms are tidy and clean, with stunning views of the harbor from the balconies. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered is delicious. Additionally, the terrace on the top floor provides panoramic views of the area.
The noise from the busy harbor and the creaking floors in the old building may be bothersome for light sleepers.

We spent our Christmas holidays in a charming hotel located in the old part of the town. The complimentary fresh flowers and homemade cookies were a nice touch. The view from the rooftop terrace was breathtaking and we enjoyed a lot our breakfasts there. The hotel had a prime location, close to many restaurants and bars.
We had to park our car a few blocks away from the hotel and carry our luggage, which was a bit cumbersome. The noise from the street was also a bit disturbing at night, but we managed to sleep with the windows closed.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Chania and had a wonderful experience. The hotel had a rustic ambiance that grew on me, with old furniture and fittings that added to its charm. My sea view room was absolutely stunning, and I appreciated the double glazed windows that blocked out any noise from the harbor. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet my requests. My room also had a fridge, air conditioning, and a cozy little deck with a table and chairs. The rooftop garden was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the view. The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the need to turn on the hot water in advance and the possibility of noise from the harbor-facing rooms, I would still highly recommend this hotel. I had a delightful stay and would definitely return in the future.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of old Chania. Its location on the harbour offers the most breathtaking views of the vibrant local market and ancient harbour. The rooms are compact but comfortable, with beautiful views over the harbour and some even have their own small terrace. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all your needs are met. The basic amenities provided in the rooms are more than sufficient, and the breakfast offered on the roof garden is a delightful experience with a top-down view of the beautiful old harbour.
Noisy wooden floors can sometimes be a minor inconvenience.
