UFC announces main fight between Kevin Lee and Al Iaquinta for Dec. 15 card at Fiserv Forum

The UFC will be coming to  Fiserv Forum on Dec. 15.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced on Wednesday its main fight for the Dec. 15 card at Fiserv Forum.

Kevin "The Motown Phenom" Lee will take on Al Iaquinta in a lightweight bout at the sparkling new downtown arena. 

The fight is a rematch of UFC 169 in 2014, when Iaquinta defeated Lee in a third-round decision.

UFC also announced that Milwaukee native Sergio Pettis will fight Rob Font in a bantamweight bout and Dan Ige will take on Jordan Griffin in a featherweight matchup. Chris De La Rocha is also slated to face Juan Adams in a heavyweight fight. 

Pettis is coming off a loss to Jussier Formiga in a third-round decision on Saturday.

Other fights previously announced for the "UFC on Fox 31" card include Jared Gordon-Joaquim Silva (lightweight), Erik Koch-Dwight Grant (welterweight), Gerald Meerschaert-Jack Hermansson (middleweight), Drakkar Klose-Bobby Green (lightweight), Jessica Rose-Clark-Andrea Lee (women's flyweight) and Edson Barboza-Dan Hooker (lightweight).

A middleweight bout between Trevor "Hot Sauce" Smith and Zak Cummings was also added to the card.

Milwaukee has not hosted a UFC event since 2013. The city has been a strong training ground for mixed martial arts with Duke Roufus' Roufusport MMA Academy.
